Wilderness Process #NP-1810

The wilderness process is a four-step process and a required component of forest plan revision. Each step will include opportunities for you to lend your voice to this essential process. Between 2018-2019, the GMUG asked for your input on the inventory and evaluation phases of the wilderness process. Those comments are located in the reading room below. As of January 2022, the GMUG is currently processing comments on the Draft Plan and Draft EIS, including the wilderness analysis phase of the 4-step wilderness process. Please see the GMUG's Forest Plan website at www.fs.usda.gov/goto/gmug/forestplan for information on how to participate. Wilderness-specific information is located on the following page: https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/gmug/landmanagement/planning/?cid=fseprd570149
