The proposed action is to approve a Plan of Operations submitted to the Forest, which consists of a proposal to reopen and sample an old collapsed mine adit, in the Farm Creek area of the Ashley National Forest.

The combined 30-day scoping and comment period closed May 16, 2025 (30 days after the legal notice of opportunity to comment published in the Vernal Express on April 16, 2025).

The 45-day objection period closes September 15, 2025 (45 days after the legal notice of opportunity to object published in the Vernal Express on July 30, 2025).
