Eleven Point Wild and Scenic River's Comprehensive River Management Plan #NP-3168
The Mark Twain National Forest is proposing to update the Comprehensive River Management Plan (CRMP) for the Eleven Point Wild and Scenic River. A Comprehensive River Management Plan was prepared in 1973 and was updated in 1975. Due to the length of time since the CRMP was prepared, an update is needed to capture new information and additional required elements.
The purpose of this proposal is to update the comprehensive river management plan to protect and enhance the values for which Eleven Point WSR was designated (free flowing condition, water quality, and outstandingly remarkable values) and to identify Forest Service management actions needed to protect these values on Federally managed lands within the wild and scenic river corridor.
