During that time I have had the pleasure of riding the Continental Divide Trail near Pipestone Pass, Montana. This segment of the CDT is multi-use and I can honestly say there have been no problems between user groups. I have personally seen horses, hikers, trail runners, and mtn. bikers co-exist without any problems. Non-motorized trails can be used by all non-motorized users concurrently without problems. We don't need non-motorized trail segregation. Let mountain bikers be positive members of the CDT trail community. WE LOVE IT AS MUCH AS EVERYONE ELSE! Mountain bikers have been the most dedicated of user groups when it comes to volunteering time for trail work. Let us help make this section of the CDT the best it can be.
