Florence MT 59833 CLEARWATER NF COLLABORATIVE FOREST PLAN This is for the the support of the SPECIAL RECREATION MANAGEMENT AREAS PROPOSED OPTION (SRMA) within the RECOMMENDED WILDERNESS (RWA) Over the past thirty years there has been no conflicts between users within the Great Burn area. Sightings between snowmobiles and skiers or other winter users have been very minimal and have always been on pleasant when they may happen. I know of skiers that even access this area by use of snowmobiles. The wildlife in this area show no signs of being disrupted from the snowmobiles. In fact it is known that it the snow depth average is around twelve ft in the historic snowmobile areas and very, very, few animals can even winter there. The most stress that the animals show is durning the hunting season from hunters. Not from those on a snowmobile. There has never been a documented sighting of goats or goat tracts in the Goat Lake and Blacklead Mountain areas. There has been no evidence of Lynx being in the Great Burn Area according to the 2012 travel plan ROD. This is a Historic snowmobile area. It has been used for over thirty years in the proposed SPECIAL USE AREAS. There is NO proven ecological impact from the snowmobile use in the Great Burn Area. Since there is no impact therefore snowmobiling falls under the guidelines 2012 planning rule. The proposed action needs to have a MAJOR change. Since many snowmobile areas have been deleted from maps. Change " the goat lake and surrounding bowls, Blacklead mountain including the south facing bowls, Doe Cr. drainage and surrounding bowls, Deer Cr. drainage and surrounding bowls need to be added to the Williams Lake cherry stem access." This is one of the very few beautiful areas left that can be enjoyed by ALL. Snowmobilers have the same right to enjoy this area as much as the summer users do. I personally ahve been using this area since 1982. My kids have grown up and they are now able to show their children this beautiful area. Thank you for your time Darrell
