To whom this may concern, I write today to express my support for mountain biking on the State Line trail in the Nez Perce Clearwater NF. I appreciate the Forest Service's willingness to allow bikers on trails and for allowing users to assist in maintaining the trails that we all use and love. I live in Lolo, work in Missoula and the majority of my outdoor recreation is on mountain bike in the region. Every year, the group of people I ride with are sawing and removing down trees, working volunteer trail crews and trying to do our part to maintain the trails we enjoy so much. I am greatly disappointed to hear that biking is not expressly permitted in the Great Burn/Heart Lake/Stateline trial areas in the new travel plan. I urge you to consider alternatives in the travel plan to include corridors and other adjustments to allow mountain biking on the State Line trail between Hoodoo Pass and Upper Kelly Creek area. There are great many trails and trail users and my hope is that solutions are sought to allow mountain bikers to be one of these user groups. Thank you for your consideration in this matter, Steve Snyders
