Special Management Areas are going to become a very important tool for the process to manage our public lands on a District to District bases. Every Forest, District, County, ect., has a totally different set of circumstances and it is imperative that the folks assigned to each area can independently manage and maintain public lands according to what they specifically need where they are. To fit land management into a cookie cutter is an uneducated approach that will only hinder the lands and the species that reside in them.
