Dear Supervisor Brazell: Please do whatever is necessary to protect the wilderness quality of the Great Burn/Hoodoo Pass recommended wilderness area. This region of pristine lakes, crystal streams, and scenic peaks has been a very special place to my family and many others in the Missoula area and wilderness lovers from around the country (and beyond). We know that once wilderness is lost it is virtually impossible to reclaim, and nothing is more disruptive to wilderness quality than motorized travel and recreation. There are plenty of areas in this region that are already roaded and open to vehicular travel, and the rare gem that the Burn represents is too precious in its solitude, quiet beauty, and wildlife opportunities to risk to the encroachment of mechanization. Please choose option A and protect the wilderness quality of this very special place. Sincerely, Jim Roach 4720 Humble Rd Missoula MT 59804
