Hello, I am both a motor sports enthusiast and Wilderness lover. In this case I believe the Great Burn Wilderness should remain managed for its wilderness character until Congress either releases it as non wilderness or includes it in a wilderness bill. Please do not allow the wilderness character to erode with motorized opportunities which abound on the forest in other locations as recovering the wilderness character is more difficult than maintaining wilderness character. I first hiked into Straight Creek and to Schley mountain lookout when the first wolves were recolonizing in the early 90's. With it's hidden character and unique ecology it's a refuge for solitude and habitat and a key part of recovering intact ecosystems to include all megafauna including bears, wolves, wolverine, and their prey. With miles of roads and 4*4 rec available on both the Id and Mt side of the divide, the narrow strip of wilderness character lands must be preserved.
