Dearly esteemed Forest Service,

I appreciate all the work you do to keep our forests beautiful for us and for our future generations.  In this regard I suggest that you seriously consider the Friends of the Clearwater (FOC) citizen alternative to the Forest Plan Revision.

 

1.       Please recommend as wilderness and/or protect all roadless areas including additions to the Gospel-Hump identified by FOC.

2.       I very much hope you can see to it that the water quality, wildlife habitat and fish habitat standards be enforceable and non-discretionary, without loopholes (good luck with that J).

3.       The natural processes of the forests are the best method for maintaining and creating diverse forests: therefore please consider the desired future condition of our forests to be a “process” rather than end-point oriented.
