Hello- I am writing to express my opposition for any new or renewed permits to drill, "frack", cyclic steam extract, any oil in the Sespe Oil Field. This area is very close to the California Condor Sanctuary, and is otherwise pristine wilderness. Furthermore, the Sespe river watershed provides water for many hundreds if not thousands of acres of agriculture in Ventura County. We cannot risk any pollution of our most precious resource- water. The jury may be out on the safety of "fracking", but the precuationary principle says- if in doubt, don't do it. There are doubts on the safety of "fracking", and this should be enough for us to look for alternative sources of energy, of which there are many. Thank you for supporting the public's concern in this most important issue.
