Dear Mr. Schwartz: Fracking without being monitored and without acknowledging the long term effects is not good for the surrounding community where I live and recreate. We do not want our water or air polluted nor do we want these kinds of procedures to take place without knowing the effect it will have on the humans and animals in the surrounding community. Now is the time to begin seeking other forms of energy and quit looking for such expensive and potentially destructive ways to obtain fossil fuels. We have ocean resources, sunshine and wind in our area. Let's explore deriving energy from these sources which are renewable and allows us to "live within our means" Dorothy Littlejohn Santa Barbara, CA 93103
