Dear Johathan: I write to you today regarding oil extraction in the Sespe Oil Field of the Los Padres National Forest. No fracking should be approved until we know more about the environmental and health impacts of this mechanism of oil extraction. Fracking may be damaging the fragile water supply that the public and nature rely upon. Do not approve any fracking in environmentally sensitive areas until the impacts are known. Please protect our forest and water supplies from harm. I also urge you to take all measures to protect the endangered California condors and steelhead trout from the impacts of oil development. Please ensure that spills of oil and other hazardous chemicals do not enter any sensitive watersheds. The Forest Service needs to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement before approving fracking in Los Padres National Forest. Thanks so much, Brad Adler Ventura California Brad Adler Ventura, CA 93003
