Dear Mr. Schwartz:

As a board member of CFROG (Citizens for Responsible Oil and Gas), I'm writing to encourage a moratorium on fracking in the Forest until a full EIR can be completed. It is unacceptable to consider allowing such a controversial practice until the full health and safety impacts can be sufficiently studied. In addition, fracking and other enhanced extraction techniques endanger the protected California Condor and steelhead in Sespe Creek.

Again, I urge the Forest Service to prepare a full Environmental Impact Statement before approving any fracking operations in Los Padres National Forest. Thank you for your efforts to protect our forest and surrounding communities.
