Re: Invasive Plant Control Project. Please do not use chemical herbicides.


Dear Ms. Garcia ~


Please do not use chemical herbicides in Carson and Santa Fe National Forests. I am disabled with Environmental Illness/Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Myself and others with this illness are profoundly physically affected by chemical herbicides such as the one being proposed to use in Carson and Santa Fe National Forests. Herbicides become airborne in New Mexico wind, and so these chemical applications to the forests cannot be properly contained. We need to protect our land and air for now and for future generations.


If chemical herbicides are applied near the watershed, it cannot be guaranteed that these herbicides will not end up in our water supply. We need to protect our water supply for now and for future generations.


Please help keep our environment healthy for everyone and please do not use chemical herbicides in the National Forests.
