To the U.S. Forest Service

I support Alternative B in the Forest Service Plan.  We must protect our water resources.  We can live without oil and gas, but water is necessary for life.  There are sustainable alternatives to oil and gas, but there is no substitute for water.  Healthy air, water, wildlife habitat, and recreational areas that bring visitors from out of state, and therefore stimulate Colorado's economy, must take precedence over oil and gas leasing and development.  Please protect these valuable resources by requiring that future oil and gas leases be restricted to areas that are already developed and keep the Thompson Divide and roadless areas pristine and clean and free of development.
