In this year of 2010 we need to see a better plan for taking care of  
our beautiful and special Coronado Nat. Forest.
Increased population in the area means the plan needs  to better  
protect the unique and rich biological diversity.  There will be many  
more feet on the ground, more recreation  pressure.  That means there  
needs to be more Wilderness areas, more ground protected so the plants  
and animals will still be there in the future for our great  
grandchildren.

          We need  rules to protect the forest from ATV's  in the Wild  
Backcountry before it starts to happen , and rules about the use of  
what I call the flying lawnmowers, or ultralights that were in my area  
before McAfee left.

       Then there need to be strategies for what climate change will  
brings to the forest.  We are seeing so many Emory Oak die.

      There is a need to address the use of the mountains by the drug  
runners and other illegals.  Our hiking groups run into their trash  
and carry it out.  Their fires get out of hand, their feet pound the  
trails and it certainly ruins a hike to run into them. According to  
the Border Patrol 'they own the mountain tops"
