Proposal to issue Pitkin County Government a special use permit to manage the operation, management, and maintenance of the Maroon Bells Scenic Area including, campgrounds, day use sites, roads, parking areas, welcome station, interpretive center and water/waste-water systems.
The Forest Service values public participation. Communications from the public regarding this project, including commenters' names and contact information, will become part of the public record. Comments, including anonymous comments, will be accepted at any time.
Persons commenting should include: 1) name, address, telephone number, organization represented, if any; 2) name of the proposal on which the comment is being submitted; and 3) specific facts and supporting reasons for consideration.
