Engineering Evaluation and Cost Analysis (Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act) Trout Unlimited, in collaboration with the USDA Forest Service, Arapaho Roosevelt National Forest prepared this Engineering Evaluation & Cost Analysis to support decision-making at the San Juan tunnel area of the Grizzly Mine outside of Bakerville on the Clear Creek Ranger District in Clear Creek County, Colorado. Removal action objectives to mitigate contamination present include: • Mitigate exposure to heavy metals for site users • Eliminate offsite transport of contaminants • Restore Grizzly Gulch to improve ecological habitat • Enhance recreational management • Protect cultural resources
