Landscape Level Forest Health Project covering 100,000 acres of the Mt. Magazine Ranger District. Covered silvicultural activities are described in Appendix F of the RLRMP. This proposal meets the intent of the Forest Plan by applying treatments where needed to acheive desired conditions.
An opportunity to comment on this project is being provided. Comments are considered by the Responsible Official when reviewing the Proposed Action. Specific written comments should be within the scope of the proposed action, have a direct relationship to what is proposed, and include supporting reasons for the decision-maker to consider.
The Forest Service values public participation. Communications from the public regarding this project, including commenters' names and contact information, will become part of the public record. Comments will be accepted at any time. However, comments posted after the close of a designated comment period may not be able to be given full consideration.
