The Osceola National Forest is proposing to conduct fuels and restoration treatment on approximately 729 acres of pine stands located in compartments 23 and 69.
The Osceola National Forest has published the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Blue Moon Forest Restoration and Fuels Project . The EA and other documents can be found on the project webpage at: https://www.fs.usda.gov/r08/florida/projects/330043. This project received approval to use the following emergency authority: IIJA 40807 Forest Health and Fuels Emergency Situation Determination (ESD) and is therefore not subject to the pre-decisional objection process (36 CFR 218)."
