This project is subject to the objection process pursuant to 36 CFR 218 Subpart A and B. Objections related to this project or activity part of the decision must meet the requirements at §218.8. The amendment to the Monument Plan is subject to the 36 CFR 219 objection process. Objections related to the plan amendment will comply with regulations outlined in §219.54. Objections will be accepted from those who previously submitted substantive formal comments or specific written comments related to the project or plan amendment during a designated opportunity for public participation (§218.5 and §219.53).

Objections can be submitted in writing, either electronically or in hard copy but must be filed with the Reviewing Officer within 45 days from the day after publication of notice of the opportunity to object in The Bulletin, Bend, OR. The publication date is the exclusive means for calculating the time to file an objection. Those wishing to file an objection to this decision should not rely upon dates or timeframe information provided by any other source. The objection filing period closes at 11:59 p.m. in the time zone of the receiving office on the last day of the filing period (§218.6(a) and §219.56). Mailed objections must be received before the close of the fifth business day after the objection filing period (§218.9(a) and §219.56(c)(1)).
