OPPORTUNITY TO OBJECT? Inyo National Forest has prepared a Draft Decision Notice / Finding of No Significant Impact (EA/FONSI) and a Final Environmental Assessment for the Removal of Wild Horses Outside of the Montgomery Pass Wild Horse Territory. The project would gather and remove excess wild horses from outside of the Montgomery Pass Wild Horse Territory (MPWHT) where they are not designated for management. This proposed decision is subject to objection pursuant to 36 CFR 218, Subparts A and B. Objections will only be accepted from those who submitted project-specific written comments during scoping or other designated comment period. Issues raised in objections must be based on previously submitted comments unless based on new information arising after the designated comment period(s).? Individual members of organizations must have submitted their own comments to meet therequirements of eligibility as an individual. If an objection is submitted on behalf of a number ofindividuals or organizations, each individual or organization listed must meet the eligibility requirementof previous written comment. Names and addresses of objectors will become part of the public record. Objections must be submitted within 45 days following the publication of this legal notice in the Inyo Register. The date of this legal notice is the exclusive means for calculating the time to file an objection. Those wishing to object should not rely upon dates or timeframes provided by any other source.
