OPPORTUNITY TO OBJECT Deep Creek and Whitewater Wild and Scenic Rivers Project As the Responsible Official, Forest Supervisor, Danelle Harrison, and the Bureau of Land Management, has prepared a Draft Decision Notice to authorize the implementation of the Deep Creek and Whitewater Wild and Scenic River Comprehensive River Management Plans. The Draft Decision Notice and other related supporting documentation are available for review on the project website at: https://www.fs.usda.gov/project/?project=61613 The draft decision is subject to the Project-Level Pre-Decisional Administrative Review Process under 36 CFR 218, Subparts A and B. Objections will only be accepted from those who have submitted project-specific written comments during a designated comment period. Issues raised in objections must be based on previously submitted specific written comments regarding the proposed project or activity and attributed to the objector, unless the issue is based on new information that arose after the opportunities for comment. The burden is on the objector to demonstrate compliance with this requirement for objection issues. The objection must contain the minimum content requirements specified in §218.8(d) and incorporation of documents by reference is permitted only as provided in §218.8(b). Objections must be submitted within 45 days following publication of this legal notice, which is the exclusive means for calculating the time to file an objection. It is the objector's responsibility to ensure evidence of timely receipt (36 CFR 218.9). Regulations prohibit extending the time to file an objection. All objections, including source information, will become part of the public record, and therefore will be subject to release upon request.
