Objections will be accepted only from those who have previously submitted substantive formal comments specific to the proposed plan amendment during any of the formal opportunities for public comment. The Forest received substantive comments from three individuals/organizations during the scoping process and one organization during the comment period. The interdisciplinary team considered all of the comments during the development of the DMs.
All objections must contain the objector’s name address telephone number and email address if available. It must include a signature or other verification of authorship identification of the lead objector the name of the plan amendment and the name of the responsible official. A statement of the issues and/or parts of the plan amendment to which the objection applies and a concise statement explaining the objection and suggesting how the proposed decision may be improved must be included. You must also include a statement that demonstrates the link between prior substantive formal comments attributed to the objector and the content of the objection as outlined in 36 CFR 219.54.
