The Forest Service is proposing hazardous fuels reduction, timber harvest, and essential road work to support post-fire recovery in the 2024 Wapiti Fire area, improving safety and restoring forest conditions.
While a formal public comment period is not required, we are committed to transparency and want to invite the community’s input and engagement. Communication from the public regarding this project, including individuals names and contact information, will become part of the public record.
Input form will open Aug. 3. The last day to submit input through this form will be Aug. 12.
