The Custer Gallatin National Forest invites your comments on the Red Lodge Mountain Fuels Project. The Beartooth Ranger District proposes this project to reduce wildfire behavior in the vicinity of Red Lodge Mountain Ski Area by reducing tree densities and forest surface fuels. The project area is located on National Forest lands approximately two miles west of the community of Red Lodge, in Carbon County, MT. Anonymous comments and comments submitted after the close of the final designated comment period will not provide the commenter standing for administrative or judicial reviews.
