The Fremont River Ranger District is proposing to bring tree densities, forest structure, and species composition closer to desired conditions through prescribed fire with some hand/mechanical cutting to facilitate burns and improve habitats.

Hand-delivered comments can be received at this address during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays). Comments which are solution-oriented show a cause-effect relationship with remedies that would address the issue/concern, or specific examples of potential environmental impacts would be most helpful. Comments received in response to this request, including names, addresses, and any other information provided with the comments, will be considered part of the public record and may be subject to the Freedom of Information Act and released if requested.
