Bentonville Boat Landing Parking Area #61907

Construction of a new gravel surfaced 30-space parking lot and a 150 foot gravel path to accommodate the adjacent Bentonville Boat Landing on Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources' property.

The Forest Service values public participation; comments including anonymous comments will be accepted at any time. However comments posted after the close of a designated comment period may not be able to be given full consideration.

Comments received in response to this solicitation including names and addresses of those who comment will be considered part of the public record for this project and will be available for public inspection. Comments submitted anonymously will be accepted and considered; however anonymous comments will not provide the agency with the ability to provide the respondent with subsequent environmental documents.

As a result of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014 (Public Law No. 113-76) and the Agricultural Act of 2014 (Farm Bill Public Law No. 102-381) the Forest Service will no longer offer appeal opportunities for categorically excluded projects. However we will continue to offer public involvement opportunities for these projects and will take public comments into consideration before final decisions are made.
