The proposed action was developed based on input we received from stakeholders and agency input. This public scoping period is for you to tell us how to best meet the purpose and need for the project. There will be additional opportunities for public input as project planning moves forward.

Your comments regarding this project including name and contact information will become part of the public record but we will NOT publish your comments online in the "Public Comment Reading Room” mentioned below in the next section.

Comments that help us the most are based on effects and answer the following questions:

• What are the effects of the proposed action on wildlife plants water quality recreation heritage social values or other resources? Are the effects positive or negative?
• How does the proposed action address the purpose and need for the project?
• What are unintended consequences from the proposed action?
• What alternatives should be considered because they mitigate any negative effects or help answer the questions above?
